Adventure Sightseeing

Bus tours are one way to see Charleston’s highlights in the comfort of a climate-controlled atmosphere, especially in the summer months when temperatures exceed 90 degrees. Adventure Sightseeing offers a variety of tours to cater to your specific interests. All of their tours offer free pickup and drop-off for visitors staying in the historic district. If pickup does not pertain, tours depart from the Charleston Visitor’s Center.

Tour B- City Tour

90 minute, fully-narrated tour highlighting the Citadel Military College, Rainbow Row, Catfish Row, The Old City Market, the Old Slave Mart, and makes one brief stop at the Battery.

Cost- $17adult $11 children Tour time- Daily at 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 10:45, 11:30, 12:20, 1:30, 2:45

Tour C- City & House Tour

Combination Tour includes 90 minutes of the City Tour in addition to a 30 minute guided tour of the Joseph Manigault House and Gardens.

Cost- $29 adult $17 children
Tour time- Daily at 10:45, 12:45, 2:45

Tour D- Bus Tour & Fort Sumter Boat Tour

Tour lasts 90 minutes and includes a bus tour of Charleston concludes with a Fort Sumter Boat tour. All tours are fully narrated.

Cost- $34 adult $22 children
Tour times- 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:30, 12:20

Tour E- Plantation Tour

Bus takes you to the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens where you embark on a 45 minute guided tram ride through swamps, rice fields, and past the slave cabins. The tram ride is followed by a 30 minute guided tour of the house.

Cost- $50 adult $25 children
Tour time- 10:30am daily

Tour F- Plantation & City Tour

Combination tour includes bus tour of the city and plantation tour. Cost- $59 adult $25 children
