American Military Museum

Authentic artifacts from America’s armed forces, including US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard, can be seen at the American Military Museum in Charleston. Uniforms from the past and present are on display; presenting an expansive overview of the dress of armed forces and how it has drastically changed in the last few centuries. Since the colonies were first settled, their cities have been witness to several battles. Items such as muskets, musket balls, decorations of recognition, and correspondence letters are just a few things that can be found at the American Military Museum. Also on display are priceless, hand-crafted military miniatures; some date back more than 200 years.
