Charleston Antiques

Charleston is one of the oldest cities in the country and was once home to the country’s finest craftspeople. The city prospered in a time when mass production and factories did not exist. Needs were met by skilled craftsmen with a variety of talents. Furniture and cabinet makers, carpenters, tailors, seamstresses, and masons produced the articles that once furnished Charleston’s homes. Today many of these items are considered antiques and can be worth a substantial amount of money.
