This culinary tour takes you behind the scenes of some of Charleston’s most celebrated restaurants. You will experience some of the most famous Lowcountry fare, before it ever hits the table to be enjoyed. The act of cooking is more than just fire and spices in these remarkable kitchens; the most seemingly simple of dishes can actually take hours of attention and time to create. The guides for this tour are all born and raised Charlestonians, familiar with the legendary cuisine and styles of cooking in the South. Some of the featured restaurants include; Anson, High Cotton, Magnolia’s, McCrady’s, Oak, Blossom, Carolina’s, Cypress, and Oak. Each tour generally has enough time to visit four to five of these establishments in one tour, the tour lasting approximately two hours. Coffee and pastries will be available at the first stop only and if you want to taste the tempting food you see prepared, you will just have to make reservations to savor the flavor at your pick of the day!

Tour time- 9:30 am on Fridays
Cost- $47.95 adults, $21.95 children (ages 7-12)
