By dedicating themselves to the construction and restoration of 19th century wagons and carriages, taking a ride on one of their creations is truly a unique experience. Pulling their carriages are Percheron Draft Horses, many of which are Georgia and South Carolina State Grand Champions in the hitch categories. Your carriage may take off in a number of directions, but no matter which way you head your sightseeing will be spectacular and full of narrated tales of Charleston’s rich history. Classic Carriage Tours offers a standard one-hour tour and also private tours for weddings, birthdays, or group celebrations. Look for their big red mule barn in the middle of Guignard Street.
