Holiday Festival of Lights

Holiday Festival Of Lights
843.795.7275
Nov 10th-Jan 1st

Every year millions of Americans decorate their homes in strands of colored lights. James Island County Park participates in this tradition, lighting more than one million bulbs. Three miles of continuous lights wind around the lake, and if you choose not to drive yourself you can opt for a relaxing ride on a 54 passenger train. Smell the scent of roasting marshmallows while you enjoy a carousel ride and listen to live music in the crisp winter air. Additional highlights of the festival include; enchanted forest walking trails, a climbing wall, gingerbread house displays, holiday sand sculptures, greeting card displays, custom-made photos, photos with Santa, and the tree lighting ceremony. One of the largest exhibits of holiday lights on the east coast, Charleston’s Holiday Festival of Lights displays traditional lighting as well as light sculptures of regional and cultural items.
