The Pour House changed its location last summer and since then they have become an even more valuable commodity in the music world. Today they have a well respected live music scene. This venue is of importance to local bands that are on the rise, allowing them to play in the same location, and sometimes with more established bands. The Pour House embraces local, regional, and national bands performing in several different genres such as; country blues, bebop, hard rock, reggae, bluegrass, modern jazz, and 70's funk. Some local bands that you can find at the Pour House include Fatty Arbuckle, The Key of Q, and the Gram Whorley Band. More recognized names that appear at this venue may include Vehicle, Yo Mamas Big Fat Booty Band, Larry Keel and Natural Bridge, Papa Grows Funk, The Biscuit Burners, and The Hackensaw Boys. The staff at The Pour House is known around town for being warm, welcoming, and accommodating to their guests, locals and visitors alike. Adjacent to The Pour House is El Bohio, offering Cuban cuisine if you happen to produce an appetite while dancing at this live scene.
