During this weekend event, artists and nature lovers alike come together and share a love of art, animals, and culture. This exposition is the nation’s largest nature and wildlife art affair. Featured are photography, paintings, sculpture, and carvings from some of the country’s most talented wildlife artists. One of the highlighted speakers returning to this years Expo is Jack Hanna, well-renowned naturalist and wilderness authority. He will host a number of presentations throughout the course of the Expo. The 2007 featured artist is Edward Aldrich from Golden, Co. Aldrich’s primary choice of medium is oil and his paintings offer a distinguished view of wildlife, both exotic and ordinary. Busch Wildlife Sanctuary will also host a series of interactive lectures where guests can experience rare animals that cannot be released back into the wild. Also to be expected at the Southeastern Wildlife Expo is the Retriever Demonstration, conservation exhibits, a kid’s corner, and additional family activities.
